McCarthy Institute is offering a $500 travel reimbursement stipend for students wishing to attend the McCarthy Symposium at NYU on February 1, 2019 C. Upcoming IPPLA Events D. A. SFIPLA Event this Thursday (Great opportunity to meet SFIPLA Board and Members) “You are invited to SFIPLA's first social mixer event of the year (we figured we should start the year out right)! Food and refreshments will be provided and we very much hope you will come join us for an evening of camaraderie and conversation with fellow members, old and new alike. The first half of the mixer portion of the program will take place from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Immediately following the preliminary social hour, please join the SFIPLA and Michelle Greer Galloway for the CLE program portion of the evening and earn 1.0 credit toward the Ethics CLE credit. (The CLE section of the evening will be from 6:30 pm to 7:30pm). The CLE session will be followed by the last half of the mixer/networking portion of the program which will take place from 7:30pm-8pm. B. McCarthy Institute is offering a $500 travel reimbursement stipend for students wishing to attend the McCarthy Symposium at NYU on February 1, 2019 If you plan on attending the McCarthy Institute at NYU (NY, NY) on February 1, 2019, there is a travel reimbursement stipend available to the first 20 students, available first-come-first-serve. Please contact me ASAP with questions, concerns, and to provide a name for the list. There is no registration fee for the event or the speaker dinner the night before. D. Save the Date for the IP Law Alumni and Student Mixer - March 20, 2019
Thank you to all the students who supported IPPLA during the Bagel v. Bagel sale! Along with the proceeds from the sale, the generous support of GGU’s Alumni Relations Office and Prusela Phillips (Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving), we are going to have our first-ever, IP and Privacy Law Alumni Mixer. This will be your chance to meet prominent GGU alumni practicing IP and/or Privacy law!
